Product Listing
[edit]I added back some product listings that were deleted in January 2009. I did this because finding such information was why I came to this page in 2008. Specifically, it was because I was looking for nutritional information on smartwater to see if the electrolytes it contained were of sufficient quantity for me to consider it worth my time to be buying every week (compare the amounts listed against the US RDA of those electrolytes if you want to guess the conclusion I came to on that). The specific nutritional info for smartwater is actually not something I was able to find anywhere else on the internet (good thing there's a "citation needed" tag). It is not "excessive" for a product like smartwater to have a one-sentence subsection dedicated to it when it's a product that millions of people drink regularly. Nor is it "excessive" for flavors products that hundreds of thousands of people drink regularly to be individually listed. This is practical information. Is this really more "excessive" than the countless number of lists of individual television episodes for obscure shows on wikipedia? Sorry for the rant but I was rather irritated when this was removed in the first place, and I'd rather not have to do this again. Beansy (talk) 15:48, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Conventions
[edit]Is it Vitaminwater, VitaminWater, or vitaminwater? Because in this article, it says Vitaminwater and VitaminWater, while also saying smartwater, instead of Smartwater. I have not read official company reports with the brand names, so I do not know what is correct. On the website and labels, I am seeing lowercase names, but perhaps the lowercase forms are just the stylized forms? Can anyone clarify what is officially correct? In the meantime, should I edit the article to say "sometimes stylized as"?WIERDGREENMAN, Thane of Cawdor THE CAKE IS A LIE (talk) 12:15, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- Also, is it (in caps for the ambiguity regarding conventions) VITAMIN WATER or VITAMINWATER?WIERDGREENMAN, Thane of Cawdor THE CAKE IS A LIE (talk) 12:19, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Early Company
[edit]I removed the section ==Early Company== due to the falsehood of its contents. 50 cent did not patent vitaminwater nor was he the owner. he made one flavor and is a spokesperson for the company . heavyoak (talk) 10:57, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
